Made using the 'asa-mushi' technique, where the tea is steamed for 10 to 30 seconds, this tea has a rich scent and flavour. This tea was grown, harvested, and processed in Yakushima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its natural beauty. Due to the use of JAS-organic approved methods, the farm has never used pesticides or artificial fertilisers since its opening.
Kabuse Tea: Kabuse tea refers to tea that was shaded before being harvested. The shading increases the flavour of the tea, giving it a distinctive taste.
Harvest: Spring (April)
Brewing Recommendation: Use 3g of tea for 150ml of water. Brew for 90sec at 80℃.
