Darjeeling tea gets its name from its growing area in northeastern India on the southern slopes of the Himalayas where it grows in 87 tea gardens around the city of Darjeeling. It shimmers in a golden maroon colour and has sweet, fruity-malty nuances and a slightly floral note. Darjeeling is a great companion to desserts and cakes and tastes superb with chocolatey desserts.
